Control the world with your bare hands. The colors of your fingertips, shall create the difference between peace and evil. Green activates a small beautiful bird, which makes the world a peaceful satisfying area. The blue finger dives deep into the blue seas, to find a whale. The yellow finger creates a giant fores fire. It demolishes our beautiful green planet. The red finger starts the chainsaw and cuts down all the oxygen generating trees.

How does it work?

The earth box is a box made out of laser cut wood. All the electronic are in inside and the box has an on and off button. We included a battery inside so you can bring the box to friends and family. The box is managed by a Daisy seed. This microcontroller is dedicated for playing sound. Together with sensors and speakers. We used the APDS9960 Proximity, Light, RGB, and Gesture Sensor to measure proximity and detect colors. The volume is controlled by the TLV493D Triple-Axis Magnetometer. If a magnet comes close the volume goes up. The idea is to create a device that provides you with an experience, interaction and sound. The interaction is done with a glove. The glove contains 4 colors: red, green, bleu, yellow. On the thumb we placed a magnet. Every gesture with your hand can be seen by the sensors and the box will play a corresponding color.
