Create and modulate sound with this interactive box of randomness. As the figurine is spinning, its shadow triggers different drums sounds and if you approach it with the magnet provided, the sound can be manipulated in terms of frequency and adds further effects such as delay, reverb and distortion.

How does it work?

This musical box is fitted with randomly placed LDR light sensors and when the mannequin goes over them, they launch drums sounds programmed in the Daisy Seed microcontroller. On top of that, we used the magnetic field sensor to give life to an oscillator that is shaped by the magnet provided.
