How does it work?

To create the Serial Cereal USB midi device, we primarily used the Teensy 4.0 development board along with the Arduino IDE integrated with Ableton. To take the midi input from the user, we used Piezo pickups as well as force sensitive resistors. When the user touches the cereal bowl with the Piezo, midi messages are sent into Ableton, which then triggers certain sounds for each part of the breakfast routine.
