Tree of Life is burning in flames. Untouched it remains chaotically panicked. Only positive human influence is able to stabilize the state of the tree. And in return it transfers the human creature to any other environment - all it needs is interaction. The flame is extinguished and the visitor begins a non-linear journey. Don't panic, humanity.

the tech

How does it work?

Tree of Life is an art installation made as a synthesis of artificial and natural. Each of the 8 leaves includes its own light-emitting diode and touch sensor directly reacting to human touches. As soon as the distance measuring sensor in front detects a human’s closeness, it sends a signal to diodes and the leaves start shining simultaneously. Sound and visual transformations are generated through touching the leaves
